'The world would be a much better place without men' by Aileen McDermott

As the saying goes, "Behind every great man is an even greater woman." I'm asking why not step out from the oppressive shadow our Y-chromosome possessing counterparts have imposed over us? For millions if not billions of years women have lived as second rate citizens to the slovenly, boorish gender, being forced to pick up after them, and mend the messes that they have made.

Over the years women have been undervalued and underestimated, even as far back as the hunter gatherers. In my humble opinion I believe the gatherers of the time were in fact extremely intelligent women who devised an intricate yet simple system to rid themselves of men for elongated periods of time while doing minimal amounts of work for the rest of the day. Because in reality, who needs men?

Women are better at learning, communicating, multi tasking (this one is scientifically proven, women's brains differ to men's and actually have more of a capacity for doing multiple tasks at the one time). Women lead in the world of teaching and politics.

The world would be so much better off if women took charge of the governments. Look at Germany for instance, Angela Merkel is at the helm and they're in the best condition in Europe. Compare to Ireland where short men with bellies and funny haircuts tell us what to do. Was there a single woman involved in destroying the Celtic tiger? No. Was there a single woman accused of corruption in the banks? No. Women should be in charge and the world would run smoother. Or would you rather the likes of Silvio Berlusconi come back with his adulterous ways, legal offences and outright stupid actions?I think it's fair to say that North Korea would be in a much better state of affairs if Kimberly Jong-Un was in charge if you know what I mean.

Women, without a doubt are better parents. Women can empathise with their children, nurse and care for them miles better than men ever could. Where would any successful man be without their mother? Not born is where. When it comes down to it, women are essential for reproduction, there is no conceivable way that a foetus can be produced without a woman. And before these words cause an all male riot, it is possible to produce a baby using bone marrow and female eggs. This may render you speechless but the most important thing is that it renders the male gender useless, completely and utterly useless.

Without the argument of reproduction the only purpose men can fill in this world is eye candy for the girls. 

Imagine, if you will, a world without men. A world without wolf whistles, without the need to beautify yourself to impress men, without dirty laundry, stupid "sports" like darts, needless statistics on who passed the ball the most times in a soccer match, a world without having to ask, nay tell, the men in your life to put the toilet seat down. In this world there would be unicorns frolicking through fields of buttercups and daisies, where we could spend our days gossiping and having pillow fights just as nature intended.

There isn't much more to be said on this topic, I feel I have made it clear that men are obsolete, completely and utterly useless and we women would be much better off living in a world on our own, as the superior sex.
